Provide marketing content, UX web design, and editorial services for businesses, non-profits, and public sector. Projects include:

  • Oversee brand and design refresh for technology company’s website and marketing materials.
  • Designed and developed student journalism website Topotheworld.org for Western Colorado University. Oversaw site branding. Currently serve as site administrator. WCU now has user-focused website to showcase student work.
  • Created Tribalradio.org for Native American broadcaster. Designed UX and features for cultural sensitivity and accessibility. Trained station staff. Site visits now exceed 3,000 per month. Organization now has vital online voice for Native and Indigenous news.

Provided SEO copywriting and accessible UX design for large-scale refresh of public sector website kingcounty.gov, which serves 2.5+ million users. Built more than 350 web pages in Sitecore 10 CMS. Managed media assets.

  • Collaborated with county agency subject matter experts to create clean and unified messaging.
  • Rewrote complex content with focus on SEO and easy reading (8th-grade level).
  • Researched and solved Sitecore 10 CMS configuration problems, eliminating major productivity blockers for dozens of system users.

    Managed branding and content for regional NPR affiliate station.

    • Led 8-person team through CMS migration of KSUT.org. Created site architecture, taxonomies, and content presentations. Currently direct site design and editorial. Tripled site visits and doubled time-on-site, leading to 50% increase in online ad billing. Site recognized with statewide awards in 2021 and 2022.

          • Oversaw design refresh for KBUT.org. Added UX improvements, feature upgrades, and mobile compatibility. Reversed downward trend in site visits and search rankings. Site upgrade directly led to 30% increase in online ad billing.
