Role: Project Manager, Managing Editor

Team: Me, KSUT management and staff

Tools: Grove (CMS), Adobe Audition, Photoshop, lightroom, Google Suite, Slack, Flourish, Data Wrapper

Goal: To create a radio newsmagazine for an NPR station.

My work: I designed a framework for news segments and flexible wraparound narration. I also contracted a logo designer and a local composer (for the show’s theme music). My role also included creating branding and marketing for the show and guiding it to on-air and online launch. Post-launch, I served as the program’s managing editor.

Result: The program served the station’s mission to provide news
coverage to underserved communities and in a region with a lack of news outlets.
