EDoors and More
Project: Web Design Refresh
Role: Project Manager, Information Architect, UX Designer
Team: Me, EDoors owners
Tools: WordPress, Divi, Photoshop, Lightroom, Google Suite, Trello
Goals: EDoors and More is an Arizona-based company that installs and services automated doors. While their original website helped increase sales, its design and functionality had become outdated.
My work: I created a new site structure, navigation, and visual design. I also decided to collapse a five-page website down to a single landing page, with anchor links to each section.
Results: Post-launch, the site enjoyed a 50% increase in organic search traffic and a 15% rise in conversion rates.
Full case study coming soon.
Top o’ the World
Project: Web Design and Launch
Role: Project Manager, Information Architect, UX Designer
Team: Me, department advisor, student editors
Tools: WordPress, Divi, Photoshop, Lightroom, Google Suite, Trello
Goal: The student journalism department at Western Colorado University needed its first website after a century of being print-only.
My work: I worked with various stakeholders to conduct and implement user research. We also queried the students submitting stories to the site to facilitate ease of use. Armed with the research, I built the site from scratch, envisioning and creating the structure, navigation, visual design, and content aggregation.

Role: Project Manager, Information Architect, UX Designer, Site Administrator
Team: Me, KBUT management and staff
Tools: WordPress, Divi, Adobe Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom, Trello
Goal: To provide KBUT and its listeners with a content-rich and easy-to-use website.
My work: I conducted and implemented user research studies to guide a new site design. I also created a new site structure, user interface, visual design, and content aggregation. The work included low—and high-fidelity wireframes, usability testing, and database migration from the previous site.
Result: The new site reversed a downward trend in traffic and search rankings and increased online ad billing by 30%.
Note: Per stakeholder agreements, station staff assumed ongoing design and maintenance of the site post-launch. My work on the overall site architecture and most interior pages remains intact.
